Connected for Change: Marketing Day volunteer recruitment opens August 7, 2023!

Multiple nonprofits are seeking support through HandsOn Twin Cities’ Connected for Change: Marketing Day. Volunteers can review all the marketing projects and sign up for a volunteer spot at HandsOnTwinCities.org starting August 7 and through August 28, 2023.

Land O’Lakes employees engaged in their annual Week of Service, June 12-June 16, 2023.

Throughout the week, 322 employees engaged in volunteer activities such as crafting superhero capes for youth, packing mental health and hygiene kits for LGBTQ+ community, donating blood via Red Cross blood drive, creating iSpy jars assisted living residents, and virtually supported students through a business competition.

Connected for Change - Marketing Day Nonprofit Recruitment

HandsOn Twin Cities Connected for Change series brings together a community of collaborators to build capacity for nonprofits through a one-day event focused on a specific functional area. Our upcoming Connected for Change Day is Marketing Day. Marketing Day is an opportunity for you to get expert advice on marketing related challenges from pro bono consultants. As you know, many nonprofits are unable to staff roles in all foundational functional areas and greatly benefit from being able to consult with trained professionals. Some common projects include – Social Media Strategy, Tagline Development, Brand identity work, company mission statement creation etc.

Lead Volunteer Opportunities: 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance

HandsOn Twin Cities is looking for a group of motivated, service-oriented volunteers to help orchestrate a large-scale hunger relief event on Monday, 9/12/22. This important event is one of many signature 9/11 Day-supported projects being held in observance of the 21st anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Other event locations include New York City, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, St. Louis, San Francisco, and others.

Connected for Strategy Day

Volunteer recruitment for Connected for Strategy Day is open from May 23 – June 12!

Nonprofits that have a challenge or opportunity in strategy and are looking for strategic experts to help support as a thought-partner, an adviser, a trouble-shooter, or an implementer can apply to attend Connected for Change: Strategy Day (being held July 21, 2022). You will leave the day with a clear set of next steps, whether that’s a set of recommendations or a concrete deliverable. Connected Days are free to attend.
