When you join the Corporate Volunteerism Council - Twin Cities (CVC-TC), you join the ranks of 33 companies and nonprofits that are dedicated to the community and leading the way in volunteerism.
Please see the membership levels listed below and the benefits of membership. To join as a Corporate Member, please create a New User profile for your organization (and main contact person); you will be prompted to choose your member type based on your number of employees and fill in additional information.
* Associate Membership is for nonprofit organizations that are seeking to provide CVC-TC corporate members with information on improving workforce volunteerism, knowledge on volunteerism trends and information on collaboration building.
* Partner Members are community organizations that provide expertise and a diverse perspective on community needs, volunteerism trends and practices, and nonprofit governance.
Associate Memberships are on a two-year calendar year basis (Jan.-Dec. of the following year). Associate Memberships are limited to a maximum number of organizations, calculated biennially to reflect a ratio of one nonprofit member for every four corporate members, and decided by a competitive application process. All nonprofit applications are assessed by a review committee that scores on several different variables.
Applications are now open for the 2024-2025 cycle: you may apply through November 22, 2023.
The Board of Directors may, at its discretion, designate community organizations as Partner Members. The invitation is extended by a CVC board member to those organizations that provide expertise and a diverse perspective on community needs, volunteerism trends and practices, and nonprofit governance. Once an invitation is extended, a Partner Member must fill out an application to apply. A Partner Member may be permitted one spot on the Board of Directors and will provide goods or services that will benefit the CVC membership (including, but not limited to programming). This designation will be made for a period of three years and must be approved and renewed in three-year increments.
To inquire about being a Partner Member, please contact the CVC-TC office.
When the “Welcome” screen appears, click the “My Profile” tab.
If your organization is in a renewal period, there will be a button you can click to renew.
An online version of your invoice will appear. You can now download the invoice (for check payment or other needs) and/or pay the invoice online with a credit card.
You can also call the CVC-TC office to renew with a credit card (office hours M-F, 9am to 5pm) at 651-999-5341.
