We invite all CVC-TC members to attend the Annual Meeting on February 27, 2023, from 11 am – 12 pm via Zoom.
The Annual Meeting is a vital part of our organization. It is when our CVC members approve new Board members, review financials, and provides ideas and feedback for programming.
Make an impact – your professional skills can help Twin Cities nonprofits navigate their most pressing strategic challenges.
Compass facilitates meaningful volunteer opportunities for business professionals committed to transforming the communities where they live and work. Build your professional network, chart a path to nonprofit board service, and gain invaluable experience and career development while giving back. Compass matches volunteer business professionals with selected nonprofits for pro bono consulting projects. Projects start in late January and run through May 2023.

CVC-TC member Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota’s volunteer paid time off program was featured in Voice of America News in December.
“Employees such as Ashley Pattain, a senior pharmacy benefits management analyst, has collected school supplies for children in low-income neighborhoods and helped high school students improve their writing skills. “It’s amazing that my company allows time for volunteering,” Pattain said. “I have children and can do it during the workday when they are at school.”
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota received the Minneapolis Regional Chamber’s Keystone Program award in the Large Business category for its corporate giving and volunteering programs.

Holiday Volunteering – Yes, There is Time!
For many of us, the holidays represent and ideal time to do some volunteering with your co-workers. A lot of CSR teams get bombarded with last minute requests that become difficult to fulfill. Here’s a quick list with links to volunteering pages which may make things easier for you to help find a good volunteering opportunity.
This October, Bank of America volunteers spent a week building a home in South Minneapolis with Habitat for Humanity.
