Land O’Lakes employees engaged in their annual Week of Service, June 12-June 16, 2023.
Throughout the week, 322 employees engaged in volunteer activities such as crafting superhero capes for youth, packing mental health and hygiene kits for LGBTQ+ community, donating blood via Red Cross blood drive, creating iSpy jars assisted living residents, and virtually supported students through a business competition.
Additionally, 100+ employees joined a “Walk for a Cause” campaign, tracking their movements for a week, which generated funds for the National Center for Transgender Equality in celebration of Pride Month.
Together, they volunteer 549 hours of service. This effort was a success thanks to great nonprofit partners like Hands On Twin Cities, American Red Cross, Hallie Q Brown Community Center, Face to Face, Lyngblomsten Assisted Living, Suit Up, and the National Center for Transgender Equality.
