The Corporate Volunteerism Council - Twin Cities is holding their Annual Celebration on Thursday, May 8 2025 at the Minnesota Valley Country Club, Bloomington, MN from 3:00pm-6:00pm. (Minnesota Valley Country Club).

2025 Martin Luther King, Jr. Service Opportunities
MLK Day honors the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and serves to encourage all to volunteer and serve others. Find out about events taking place throughout the community and explore ways that you can make a difference at https://www.handsontwincities.org/mlkday2025. This year HandsOn Twin Cities will be hosting a community MLK Day Service Project on Monday, January 20 from 10 – 11:30 am at the Minneapolis Convention Center (following the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Breakfast) . The event will include three volunteer projects, a mini social justice nonprofit fair, and a book drive to benefit Way to Grow. This event is free, but capacity is limited. Sign up today!

Bremer hosted a Junior Achievement North Job Shadow with Harding High School students in December. We welcomed a group of students to our Bremer Service Center and spend the day talking through the multiple career paths within financial services. Throughout the day our employees spent time talking about how to take the skills you have an turn them into a meaningful career, reviewing resume and interview tips and practices, and telling real life stories about our personal career paths.
We also hosted a Dress for Success Day of Success at our Lake Street Community room in which we opened our doors to clients for a day dedicated to building confidence and preparing for professional success. From confidence coaching to resume and interview tips, and even LinkedIn profile optimization - we provided tools and advice to help attendees shine in their job search and expand their professional networks.
It was inspiring to see participants take steps toward achieving their goals and to witness the impact of community collaboration firsthand. Together, we are empowering women and strengthening our communities!
